Theatre Nurse
Her warm and friendly manner make Christine a popular nurse and teamed with her invaluable experience, she brings a valuable dimension to our practice. As a registered nurse, Christine has over 20 years of theatre nursing experience, three of which she spent abroad in London's Harley Street Clinic and Harefield Hospital. Christine is a senior theatre nurse at Tauranga's Grace Private Hospital, applying skills and knowledge in specialties including plastic and cosmetic surgery with Mr Bialostocki. She is also involved in general, gynaecology, some ENT and orthopaedic procedures. When she is at the Da Vinci Clinic she assists Mr Bialostocki with surgery performed under local anaesthetic, pre and post operative reviews. Christine thrives on outdoor activities, many of which she shares with her three young sons on their Bay of Plenty lifestyle block.

Meet Nicky, another one of valued team members. Nicky assists both Mr Bialostocki and Dr Stanway and this involves wound care, biopsies, assisting in theatre for surgeries as well as pre-operative and post-operative care for patients. Nicky trained at Waikato Hospital and moved over to the Bay of Plenty in 2009. She spends most of her week at the Da Vinci Clinic but also some time at Grace Private Hospital and enjoys the diversity this offers her. Prior to joining us Nicky spent six years at Grace in Day Stay, Ward and Theatre. With a wealth of surgical nursing experience and a calm, friendly manner with patients, Nicky is an integral part of the smooth running of our practice. She enjoys living here in the Bay and in her spare time enjoys the outdoor environment and spending time with family and friends.

British born and trained Angela has many years of plastic surgical experience in both private and public plastic surgical hospitals in the UK and more recently in New Zealand private surgical hospitals. With experience in day stay and short stay surgery, as well as having worked at Tauranga’s Grace Private Hospital, Angela has been placed in charge of the Da Vinci Clinic theatre and assists Mr Bialostocki with surgery performed here. She also performs simple and complex wound care, punch biopsies and tissue expansion. Having moved to New Zealand with her family in 2007, Angela loves the lifestyle offered by the Bay of Plenty region and enjoys an active social life.

She oversees the running of the clinic to the highest of standards and is delighted to be part of the team that provides a professional and discreet service to the community. An integral member of the team, Suzanne is crucial to the smooth running of the business and is immensely dedicated to the well being and comfort of both patients and other staff members. With a keen business brain, style and warmth, she personifies what it is the clinic strives to achieve. Suzanne’s charities of passion are the Waipuna Hospice where she helps with the bi-annual fund raising calendar and the Tauranga Wine and Food Festival. Through her work here she has become more aware of the lack of knowledge and support available for breast cancer and melanoma sufferers and enjoys contributing in any way she can, along with the rest of the team at the clinic.
